The Solar Series Pedestrian Activated Cabinet Transmitter allows for wireless connection and communication with all paired Pedestrian Activated Crosswalk Beacons from several hundred yards away. Positioned inside a traffic cabinet or other weatherproof enclosure, the manually activated remote transmitter is connected to a pedestrian pushbutton. When the pedestrian activated push button is pressed, the transmitter communicates with all intended crosswalk beacons within range, greatly enhancing the effectiveness, safety and capability of marked pedestrian crossings while decreasing the over-all cost of installation and operation.
